NON INSULATED END SLEEVES
End sleeves
KACAB’s insulated and uninsulated end sleeves are made of tinned copper. The end sleeves have dimensions according to DIN 46228 (not TWIN). The insulating sleeve is made of PP (polypropylene) and is shaped according to the easy-entry principle.
Easy-entry
It is easy to guide the conductor correctly into the cable lug, as the insulating sleeve is of the “easy-entry” type, which means that it guides the conductor correctly into the cable lug.
Avoid scattering leaders
End sleeves are used when a perfect connection on a cable end is needed. With our end sleeve, you avoid scattering conductors and reduce the risk of cable breakage. In addition, they create a lasting contact pressure and a large contact area. During pressing, a trapezoidal or square geometry is formed.
When using our contact pressing tools and end sleeves, a connection is obtained that meets the requirements according to VDE 0609.
